"Oui, amour." She smiled, her eyes closing. Taking in a breath, she could smell his scent, liking the way he smelled. She almost wanted to just curl up against him and stay there, though they would most likely get in trouble.

Wiggling her hips against his touch on her back, she chuckled before looking back up at him. So he was turning eighteen! She needed to think of a great present for him. Hmm.. maybe Brielle could help with her quest. "Zat iz next month!" She exclaimed, forgetting she said it out loud and not in her head. Blushing lightly, she smiled. "Oh, I zeem to be wiz an older man." She chuckled, moving a hand to poke him teasingly in the chest. Even though they weren't dating, though she kind of was thinking that she wanted too, she did like the thought of him being older. She was always one to go after older guys. Then again, most girls did. "Non, non. I am getting you a prezent. Whezer you like it or not, Noel Laurent." She let his name roll off her tongue with her heavy accent. She liked the sound of his name.

Seeing that big nod and him holding her in the embrace, she moved her hands from around his neck and wrapped them around his chest, nuzzling her face into the collar of his shirt and neck. Taking in his scent and running her hands along his warm back, she smiled. He liked her and she liked him! Now she was definitely glad she had said something instead of keeping it to herself. Moving her face away from his chest, she stopped a few inches from his face, staring serenely at his eyes. "Zo when are you going to wizk me away to ze countryzide?" She couldn't help but burst into a smile, remembering their little conversation back at the Room of Requirement.
An older man? Bwaha! He hadn’t even thought about that. Smiling widely, he raised a brow and nodded his head to the side, shrugging slightly. "Eh, not zat much older." Just a year, oui? Almost exactly? Did…did age matter to her? "Zat…iz alright zough, oui?" She wasn’t getting up and running away, so that was a rather good sign that she didn’t care. Oh, who was he kidding? He was being silly. Thoughts making him paranoid again. Which, seemed to happen a lot this year ever since he came to this school and entered the tournament.

"Alright, alright." He chuckled, raising his hands a bit as if defeated. He’d rather just spend the day with her and his friends, no presents needed, but apparently he couldn’t argue with her. Why would he? If she wanted to then… "Juzt, don’t spend anyzing." Or a lot. He’d prefer she didn’t spend anything though. The guitar pick was even more then he could ask for. However, he was beginning to think how he’d never really properly thanked her for that pick. True, he had verbally thanked her and such, but… well she wouldn’t mind if he got her a gift too right? Girls liked gifts! Besides, he needed to get her a birthday present.

It felt, very nice, amazing even, with just her hands on his back. He could still feel the warmth of her hands through his uniform shirt, making him wonder why he was surprised each time, though he’d never get tired of it. It was almost as if it were natural, them being so close like this. As if they fit perfectly with one another. Holding her close, he would have rather have stayed like this forever, and was a tad disappointed when she moved away. The reason though had him laughing quietly. "Chaque fois que vous désirez, mon cher." Maybe not during the school year however, considering he needed to stay here for the time being, but he was beginning to wonder if he really would drop the tournament and whisk her away to the countryside if she so wished. Was she more important than the tournament? Even if she wasn't (which she was), he knew he wouldn't be able to say no. He couldn't even do so in his mind.

He hadn't even known her for, half a year, and he would do so. The heart liked to play with people's minds and choices didn't it.
