With a very disappointed look on his face, Treyen flicked his wand and said "Aguamenti" before seeing the water put a stopper on...fire. Bye-bye flames. And then he Evanesco'ed the wet wood off the ground. There. He was done. "Great lesson, Professor, see you soon!" he said, taking his bag along with him as he...left. Distracted by keeping eyes on Mister Fletcher at all times, Professor Kingsley acknowledged the boy without looking. "Until later, Mister Lockhart." Quote:

Just then, the professor said that class was over. What? Already? Maybe he had to end it early because that one Hufflepuff guy conjured something that looked like the Professor's desk?
Sadly, Jenny pointed her wand at the fire she and Kurumi just made. "Aguamenti." It took a while but eventually the flames died down. Then she waved her wand to make the used wood vanish. "Thanks for the lesson, Professor!" Jenny said as she gathered her blanket and other things. Then she tried to wave goodbye to Raiden (was he even looking?) and turned to Kurumi as she headed back to the castle. "Do you want to roast marshmallows later?" "Good day, and good work," he said, still distracted. Quote:

"Great Lesson Professor Kingsley!" Dianna said as she got all her belongings and marched back towards the castle. "Good day," he said, still waiting for the Hufflepuff. Quote:

Thankfully, the professor put it out before Raiden had to, and before Fletcher had any more of a chance to protest that it was 'only practise'. Shoving his hands into his pockets, he looked around at the other students before taking a few steps toward the castle.
"Great class, sir," he called in the professor's direction. It had been; they'd had fire and nobody had lit themselves up or anything. That was a triumph in itself. The young man paused, to make sure that nobody would need help before he went back to the castle.
Or to make sure that Fletcher wouldn't be conjuring any more furniture to light on fire. Either way. "Thank you for your assistance today, Mister Kururugi," he said as the prefect left. Quote:

She was looking forward to practicing incendio a bit more because she didn't feel like she'd really gotten a hold on it during class. "Thanks for the great lesson Professor!" Alice said with a smile and tiny wave before she was off and heading towards the castle. He allowed his gaze on Mister Fletcher to break when the girl addressed him. "Ah, that is fine for now, but come by the practice room and I can teach you the vanishing spell."
And then, eyes back to the boy. Quote:

"---tice," Fletcher finished his sentence with a small open-mouthed "o" expression. Whups. Ya caught me, professor.
Slowly edging away from the now-soggy desk, Fletcher hid his hands behind his back. Oh, class dismissed. That's great. He edged away even farther but halted on the spot when Kingsley called him out.
"Er... yes sir," he said, nodding slowly and waiting for the rest of their classmates to leave. Maybe the 'word' he wanted to say would just be 'awesome,' followed by 'that was awesome. Good work. I'm impressed.' Maybe????! Preston crossed his arms in front of his chest, wand still in hand, as he made his way to the boy. "Mister Fletcher," he said, sternly. "Would you care to tell me exactly what you were thinking when you began your... display?"
Eyes narrowed, he tilted his head to the side as he considered the boy.
