Professor Kingsley has set up this room as a safe place to practice spells from this term and previous terms. The everyday items needed to practice inanimate transfigurations are set on tables along the edge of the room. There is evidence that at some point, creatures inhabited a pen, but it is currently empty.

A glowing blue circle is off in the far corner of the room, a few scorch marks contained within it, but not outside. A special boundary has been drawn to contain miscast fire.

Near the door, the following rules are posted:

1. Fire spells may only be cast within the blue circle. Under no circumstances should you attempt to burn anything in this room outside that boundary.

2. You may practice with live creatures. However, you must ask Professor Kingsley's premission and he will acquire the creature for you.

3. Don't be afraid to ask questions! That's why this room is open with Professor Kingsley supervising.
