heart I just finished writing this ... Eeeeeeeeeeeek! That means you're all caught up!
Paris & Kellybear r luv :Read Otty 's fics:Gone With the Wind:I♥Rupert

It's funny how the mind works, I hadn't read this in like weeks and suddenly I thought yesterday about using Dracula in the story and then I read this and realized I'd been toying with vampires and ... see? Even unconsciously I'm writing ... Nanowrimo here I come! I'm so revved

Chapter: La samba des jours avec toi (The samba of better days with you)

Paris is so cold
My God if you exist even a little.
bring me back
My artist, creator
so vain
Who didn't paint me
Time passes just the same
I don't forget.
~Coralie Clement Samba De Mon Coeur Qui Bat

“What the devil am I doing on a train going nowhere?” Angel thought to himself. “Ottery is out there being rescued by that bungling bag of buffoonery Teddy, and Madison and her little pet wolf are out to get the antidote and here I am, the man with the plan, master of the game stuck on some train to nowhere. I mean, where the devil is Transylvania, anyway?”

The door to the compartment had not opened, the soft touch of steps on the carpet had not betrayed her presence, so Angel was duly startled when someone answered his question.

“We’re in Romania,” the dulcet tones of a young blonde haired girl responded, as she took off long black gloves of the old style, those ones that went up to the elbows. “Do you mind if I sit down?”

Before Angel could say anything the young girl was already sat across from him. The boy had been careful not to betray his surprise but for a mind reader …

“Yes, body language is pointlessly needless where my kind are concerned. Mind readers I mean.”

“And vampires,” the boy added. “Surprised that I can think faster than you can read? You should be, it would be stupid for you to depend --”

The girl was standing in front of him with her hand at his throat before he had finished speaking. Angel merely smiled and poked her stomach with the end of his wand.

“If you’re done playing ‘whose is bigger’ I’d love to get down to brass tacks.”

“Gold, please. Brass is so plebian.”

Angel smiled as she sat down again and called him something obscene. He had not said it but thought that vampires were plebian, too.

“What is it you want with us?” the girl asked.

“My friends needs saving, and well … I think you all might be able to help me.”

“We’re not in the business of saving people. We’re in the business of sucking their blood.”

“You paint such a romantic picture, you really do but no dear, my friend is Ottery St. Catchpole, so as you can see he’s not just anyone. He’s someone important and not just to me and it is very important that he live.”

“And what makes you think we can help?”

“He’s been poisoned. Some of my companions are on the way to get the antidote but should they fail, there needs to be a contingency plan.”

“And what would that be?”

“I have no bloody clue. Teddy D. Bear sent me to ask you for the Carpathian solution. So, how can I buy it and what is it?”

“The Carpathian solution is not something you take with you, though it is something we can give you.” There was a smile like a cat makes to a mouse when it knows it’s just playing with it but it will eventually have it for supper.

“You frighten me,” the boy said.

“Thank you.”

“That wasn’t meant as a compliment,” the boy replied. The hand in his jacket pocket holding the bottle of holy water that much more tightly.

“We will, of course have to talk to the Master. I’m sure something … can be arranged. A suitable solution, but the price might be more than you’re willing to pay,” the young girl said coyly.

“Money is so not a problem here,” the boy replied. Angel was a world renowned thief, whatever they asked he was sure he could get it, no matter the amount or whatever the artifact they might desire, thieving was his livelihood. He felt a rush of cold down his back and shivered a little, something suddenly told him that it wasn’t likely money they were after.

I love the escape on the dragon! How wonderful!
I love Teddy’s mischievous grin!

Teddy is love Conners, I know he's a hard character to love but he truly loves Otty as only your best friend can, despite the whole trying to kill him all the time, their relationship (ironically enough) is like that of Cain and Abel in Sandman (except Otty isn't a total wuss and Teddy wouldn't really kill him viciously) and before anyone asks, no, at the time of the creation of this insidious partnership I had not read the Sandman books or in truth anything by Neil Gaiman which is weird cuz now he's like one of my favorite writers. OMG! Seriously made of the awesome, you should all check him out.

Neways, no, I want this story to be short, like maybe 10 SS pages and not like epic or something, which isn't to say I won't come back with a longer story continuing this story, it's just I want ... I don't know ... shorter stories. Neways, no ... Otty has to die ... I just didn't say how, or when, or why or what the ... I read comic books ... and that's all I'm saying ... and you've got to remember ... this wouldn't be Otty's first death ...

Great chapter by the way. Short and sweet xD LOL!

*fans you* No wait you didn't faint Hey Evi3e I'm glad you're still here, I know I've been bad about updating but I mean to finish this story ... and enjoy doing it. But yes, zombies and love ... zombie love should be the name of my next fic LOL Otty is ... well he's there, and let's leave it at that until I write it. Consequently I wrote the last Otty story ages ago as a ficlet in one of my short fic fics ... I don't remember, sadly it wasn't the last thing posted on that thread so ... but chronologically speaking it was the last one. If I find it I'll repost it here as a side chappie and you all can see ... it all ends happily in the end. I don't know how it'll end in this fic though

Googling my old neighborhood on Googlemaps has made me maudlin and sad ... and waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay too introspective of the past. I'm also listening to Karen Carpenter and I want to cry so ... I'll leave now and write the next chappie for later. Maybe even a few chappies, i love being ahead so I can tease you all with the events coming. Oh, c'mon you all know I'm evil.

TTYL

Love you all for still reading ... it means a lot. ♥

*Crying* OMG! I'm listening to Karen Carpenter singing Can't smile without you ... OMG! Obviously the next chapter will be sad ... *plots Otty's death*
