49. Yule Ball

First Dance
Walking into the entrance hall, JD looks around for Ellie. Hearing a hush as someone began coming down the stairs, he looks up. Taking in a deep breath, he smiles and offers his arm to her. She looked beautiful, and couldn’t believe that she had agreed to come to the ball with him.

“Shall we, m’dear.” His eyes twinkling happily.

Heading toward the dance floor, he takes her hand gently, twirling around in front of him, placing his hand on her waist as and his other still in hers. Swaying to the music, he couldn’t imagine himself being any happier.
