Vlad frowned slightly and started counting off languages on his fingers. "Vell... there's English, French, German, Spanish, Japanese, Russian, Finnish, Norwegian... and... alot more. I just alvays foound lagvages easy to remember, vhere as magic and magical theory, I had to vork very hard on."
The young man smiled at Savannah. "I came to read, of course," he chuckled. He'd been expecting her to say the same thing, only say what she was reading for, and then he'd have replied with his own answer. "Just some private study. I've actually been here a few times to look up about Dark Magic, but the hassle was ridiculous."

"Don't you have... exams at the end of the year. I vould have thought you were here to study."
