All hope was down the drain now. Maybe she could convince the nice boy to teach her the basics later… after the teacher's not around

Back to the lesson, Louisa took one glance at the board to remember the quite words. With the Professor there, she really wanted to succeed this time. One tiny blanket please.. One tiny blanket please.. One tiny blanket please..One tiny blanket please.. One tiny blanket please, she thought desperately. " Vestis.. vellus." And quickly closed her eyes.

Well, she wouldn't know if it worked or not like that and … nobody laughed or shouted which meant the result wasn't disastrous. Slowly her eyelids were apart and a small blue woolen handkerchief was laid in front of her in place of the scarf.

Ookaaay. She looked up at the teacher with an uncertain smile. "That… is considered a tiny blanket, sir?" Which what she told her wand to do secretly so she didn't fail. Her eyes moved to the nice boy standing next to the teacher for support. Like he could clap his hands for her or even cheer? She would give him the sweets inside of her pocket if he did. Pinky swear .
He nodded. "Of course we can do magic without talking." He said simply, but he knew to a first year that idea seemed as foreign as a muggle car that ran on gas.

He didn't Professor Kinsgley to think he wasn't doing his lesson, so he non-verbally changed his Slytherin scarf into a silver blanket. He misjudged the size and it came out the size of a bed sheet. "Drat," he mumbled. Now when she changed it back his scarf was going to be extra long. And for a short person everything was already too big.

He returned his attention back to the little Ravenclaw so see how she was faring.

Diggy smiled and clapped when she finally opened her eyes to see that she hadn't covered the world in a blue blanket. "See its not so hard," he told her. She reminded him of his little brothers and how their eyes would light up when Diggy did magic for them.
