Concentration...concentration. This stuff wasn't that different from kendo. Perhaps she had been approaching magic the wrong way. She had used great concentration when fighting that boggart in Charms with Jenny and she had really taken her time to visualize what she wanted it to turn into before she had cast her spell. Transfiguration seemed to be the same. "
Thank you professor, I will try harder," she smiled with just a hint of nervousness.
She then turned her attention to the boy she had asked for help as he seemingly effortlessly changed her monster of a scarf back to it's normal state and in a neat little pile on the desk. "
Woooooooooow," she whisperer under her breath. "
Thanks," she smiled holding her wand out again. "
Concentration....visualization....I think I can handle that."
She closed her eyes and visualized a giant
knitted blanket that her mother had made. It was the same blanket that she had slept with for years and years and held the strongest impact for her. After she had fixed that image in her mind, she them imagined it folded in a nicely on her desk. The image planted firmly in her mind, she repeated the wand movement and said, "
Vestis vellus," still with her eyes closed.
She slowly opened her eyes to see that the blanket was now resting on her desk. A huuuuuuuuuge smile grew across her face. "
I did it!"
