"Yes... vell... I don't suppose there are regular trips there," Vlad chuckled gently. He'd heard of some Durmstrang students who switched to Hogwarts, and though he had recognised none of them yet, he was getting ready to get a sudden blast from the past from one. The young man didn't actually agree with switching wizarding schools. Mainly because all schools were different.

Ah well.

Once Vlad had the young lady's hand, he smiled warmly and gently pressed his lips to the top of it for a split second. Then he leaned back again and 'gave' the girl her hand back, for lack of a better term.

"Ah, a seventh year? So am I. I recently turned eighteen," Vlad added for no particular reason. "And... yes... qvite tired. And a little unhappy. I vas a Durmstrang Champion but didn't make it to the next task... no idea why though. Sputnik... is probably displeased. He's our Headmaster. Sorry... talking to much. I do that vhen talking to pretty young ladies."

Yep, forget his vow of studying. Vad was having some fun this year.
