Yes, the tunnels and doors had all disappeared. The students could now all come into the makeshift classroom on the grounds, the one that contained cushions, a desk that sported several boxes of chocolates, and the students who had been able to find the 'exit' by themselves.
Stepping into the classroom, Di glanced around. Some of them seemed rather.... relieved to be out of the maze. "There are chocolates in these boxes..." The Professor stated the obvious, glancing at the biiig boxes on her desk. "If anyone wants but hasn't grabbed some already, feel free to now. Other than that... class is dismissed, you may head back to the castle. Homework will be put up on the Runes noticeboard, later today."
Was she forgetting something? Di frowwwwned slightly. Ah yes!
".... and don't forget the boxes you picked up at the end of the maze, either. Three taps of the wand should open them. They contain flavoured ink and quills - in case there are students who haven't purchased or heard of those before, no, those are not meant to serve as stationery -" Not that she had a problem if someone wanted to use a chocolate quill to take notes - "Most of the boxes contain chocolate-flavoured items, but there are a few other flavours... at any rate, if you don't like the flavour you've gotten, you can always get your box exchanged."
So. That was it.
"You've all done a splendid job. Have a good day, all of you."
Di smiled lightly.
Say what?! They had special flavored ink and quills! Kurumi immediately took out her wand and tapped her box three times as instructed and looked in to see that its contents didn't look much different from regular quills and ink. She picked up her quill and looked at it. Maaaaaaybe it had a bit of a pink tinge to it. Shyly, she took a quick lick of the feather end and her eyes bugged out of her head. It tasted like strawberries! She then took out her ink and saw that it was a dark black color. She quickly opened it up and was happy to smell a nice chocolate aroma.
"
Thank you very much, professor," Kurumi smiled bowing slightly. Mazes were so much fun! "
Oh, before I go, do you happen to have that cookie recipe?"
