Here's the new post...
Emily sat in Alice’s bedroom, on her couch, and stared blankly at the mirror. She wanted to call George, but at the same time, she didn’t. She didn’t know how to say it; she didn’t know how he’d take it. She was scared and lonely. She wanted to go home, but at the same time, she needed to get back to her mission. Emily’s hand absent mindedly went down to her stomach. Could she go on this mission and put her life at stake when it could hurt them? Could she risk their lives that way?
There was a light knock on the door and Rosalie walked in, Emmett right behind her.
“Hey, we were wondering if you were hungry,” she said quietly as she sat on the sofa beside her. Emily quickly put the mirror in her purse.
“Er, yeah, a little bit… What’s on the menu?” she asked with a chuckle.
“A bit of A positive with a side of O negative,” Emmett said with a grin.
“Hardy har har, I meant for me,” Emily said as she rolled her eyes.
“What are you craving?” Rosalie asked.
“Spaghetti,” Emily said shyly.
“Again?” Emmett asked with a laugh.
“Maybe,” Emily whispered.
“Do you want to wait up here while I go make it?” Rosalie asked.
“I can make it, Rose,” Emily said quickly.
“Don’t even think about it; it’s my pleasure. I’ll call you when it’s ready… And maybe you should make a call too,” Rosalie said with a knowing smile. Emily just nodded as they left the room.
Emily pulled her half of the mirror back out and stared at it. She still couldn’t bring herself to call him. Sighing, Emily started to lie back on the couch, only to get up and run from the room. She made it to the bathroom in time to throw up into the toilet. She felt someone’s cold hands at her neck. They pulled back her hair and wiped the sweat from her skin.
“It’s not even morning,” Emily said shakily.
“It’s okay, Ems, you’re still healthy and they’re fine,” Alice soothed.
“How’d you know that’s what I was thinking about?”
“Edward’s in the hall whispering it to me. He thought this is more of a private thing and decided to wait outside,” Alice explained quietly. Emily grunted as she threw up again.
It had been two weeks, and Emily still hadn’t called George. She was scared and didn’t know how to tell him. It was Christmas holiday and Emily knew that Ginny would be back home with the rest of the Weasleys. She wanted more than anything to join her family, but she was afraid. It was the day before Christmas Eve and Emily got into another fight with Alice. They were having a lot of those lately—fights. Emily kept thinking about her mission and the battle that was drawing nearer. Alice didn’t want her to go, saying it was too dangerous, especially with the pregnancy.
“So, what am I supposed to do? Stay here, hiding, while everyone I love dies around me? I’m not going to do that!” Emily yelled at her. Half of her knew that her emotions were higher than normal because she was pregnant but it was still true. She couldn’t just sit back and relax when her family could be dying.
“And what if you died?” Alice yelled back.
“What if you got hurt? What if you hurt the babies?” “I can’t just sit back, Alice! I have to do what I can in this fight! It’s my world and I’m not going to let it crumble around me! I’m fighting—period!” Emily didn’t give Alice the chance to retaliate and continue the fight; she ran from the house. Emily ran until the driveway ended and then she Apparated to the woods beside La Push. She sat down under the tree where she had met Seth for the first time. She sat against the bark, sobbing.
Emily sat there for a few hours before someone came up behind her. She heard their footsteps before their voice sounded right behind her. Emily jumped slightly before looking back at the man.
“Dr...Draco?” Emily asked, surprised.
Hehe, what do you think?
