Riley hadn't been to any of the other Flying lessons but he had heard they could get a bit messy. After debating with himself for a good thrity minutes, the Gryffindor had dressed in some old jeans and a grey hoodie and grabbed an old blanket as he left the Common Room. He entered the area designated for the class and sighed disappointedly as he saw they would indeed start out in a mess, sitting on the grass. Normally he wouldn't mind but it was cold out and the ground was hard and a bit muddy.

Spreading out the blanket, not looking to see if anyone noticed, Riley made his seat ready and then sat down, nodding to the Professor in a greeting.
