Grabbing Evan's arm she said, "Come on, let's go back to the common room first and get rid of our stuff." There really was no need to carry it around when they were so close to their own common room. Plus they wouldn't have to worry about Lafay being in there right now, since she was still in the classroom.
Evan just nodded, not sure what he should say to Marie. It wasn't the end of the world, right, they'd get detention at worst, which was cool for the first time.
Oh. She grabbed his arm. He didn't flinch or take it back though. There was nothing wrong with that, she was his friend. It just felt odd after the kiss and stuff. Anyways.
"Okay," he said and followed her to the common room.
