Marie grinned back at Evan. Yes, they were rebels together, both protesting a class.
"Who cares what she does. What's she gonna do, give us detention or take points away from us? Big deal, we can be in detention together then." Yep, detention could be fun if she had to serve it with Evan.
What? Did she say something wrong? Why did he freeze up like that? Then it hit her, they were alone, no one around them. Something that had not happened since they kissed. Oh no, was he thinking about kissing her again? No, she couldn't let that happen
even though she would like it to. Shaking those thoughts out of her head she looked at him a little nervously.
Oh, what did she want to do for an hour? Maybe he hadn't been thinking about kissing her at all. Maybe it was just her thinking that.
"Umm, we could always go to the Great Hall and get some food." Yep, there would be others there right? They wouldn't be alone then. No chance of her doing something she would regret later.
