*WHOMP*
One huge branch crashed down, right in front of the kid. It rose, rose, rose back into the air and disappeared out of sight.
Evan was trying to figure his way out when suddenly he felt something approach from above. Looking up, he froze as the HUGEST branch ever decided to hit him. Everything seemed to happen in slow motion, his mouth opening slowly to shriek, but no sound coming, and the tree closing on him to crash down right in front of him. As it made the contact with the ground to knock him off backwards, Evan SHRIEKED as loudly as he could, staggering backwards, away from the tree. Then he watched it rise back into the air with horror. He closed his eyes for a second to calm down. This wasn't a class! They were trapped here! If he just stayed there, maybe the tree would leave him alone and when the class finished, he'd be rescued safely. Yeah, that was the plan.
Not even bothering to pick up his stuff which fell when the huge branch tried to murder him, he just sat there, leaning on the wall behind him as he watched the clock ticking by.
