Hogwarts RPG Name: Patroclus Hudson | Professional Twirler Mourned and Missed What? the calss was over and no tarot reading??
Patroclus was a little dissappointed, he had wanted Neppie to read his spread again.....was she even here actaully?
Listening to the Professor, the boy made note of the final class assignment, and dripping his quill into his ink well, and snatching up a new sheet of Parchment the boy got to work. The Renaissance Deck.
Being a fond lover of History, my personal choice would often come down to two separate decks, firstly the Ancient Egyptian Deck. This one has often been a favourite due to the history of Tarot, as one can trace back it's origin's to Egypt. However for a daily basis use, I have selected the Renaissance Deck. The initial choice to use this deck is mainly aesthetically based, as the rich images reminding me of the Renaissance art I am so fond of. However on deeper inspection The Renaissance Deck can be seen to link with the re-emergance of Tarot Reading, in the Renaissance period of Europe, when the Roles of the Ancient Greek and Roman gods were displayed on the Minor and Major Arcana Decks, and when the peoples of Europe were inspired by a new cultural Revolution. Getting up from his seat, the boy packed his bag, then gave the Professor his notes, "Thanks for a great lesson Sir!", he smiled before heading out. SPOILER!!: Patroclus' Parchment Patroclus Hudson
