And although he should be greatful that he has two left he cant seem to get passed that he doesnt have those other three as well." she said with a shrug. She actually thought it was quite silly.

" The ten of cups like all cup cards deals with water but specifically harmony and stability," he replied.

Wasn't divination supposed to have some peaceful and tranquil atmosphere?

She could barely hear her own thoughts with all this debating and noise around!

Hmm, and it seemed Josh wanted to help in the action as well, though he was not pointing at the crystal balls. Whaaat was he doing? Was there a fly in the room or something that he wanted to catch?

Or was he going after Peeves?

"I think Peeves is gone Josh." she muttered, sighing and placing her quill on the table while reaching out to his hand, tugging on it slightly. "Sit back down." Before he got into trouble, and so she could be comfortable again. His warmth disappeared when he stood up.

Now it was all cold!

Frowning, Evelyn moved her attention back to the professor, thinking over the minor arcana cards. Actually, she couldn't remember all of them.

Surprised, she sat back in her seat, staring at the people picking up the orbs and placing them back on the rack as she tried to think of any cards and their meanings. Well, she knew the cards, just not most of their meanings. Hmm, she did remember one actually. "The ace of wands..." she started, picking up her quill and fiddling with it. "...often means confidence and things related to that such as authority, success, and will power. It's a very...strong card so to speak."

Hmm yes, she liked that card. Probably why she remembered it.

All of those symbols together is a message of combination and unification on an energetic level. Usually in a reading, it means that you should find a balance, you should go above and beyond to reach your goals, take into consideration the infinate number of energy channels that connect to your well being, while dedicating yourself to a mission while trusting and letting your higher purpose show you the way."

"The cards have the Ace, number 2 - 10, the page, maid, knight, queen and king within all sets." Cameron fumbled with her note paper and frowned. "So.. you can have like the Paige of Cups and he symbolises the beginning of creativity or the start of a new project or creative venture. It may also signify the beginning of a new relationship or the dawning of a new perspective on a difficult situation." For exaaaaaaaaample.

It represnents focus, alignment, clarity, Intensity....plus it has a sword on it, that's pretty cool."

Patroclus had paid no attention to Peeves, well excpet for when the crystal ball's had rained from the sky, but other than that, Patroclus was not in the mood.

Alice watched with an open mouth as Peeves floated around the room, going invisible so that just Professor Reynolds' glasses were visible. Who knew that he could be so annoying? Alice was about to point to Professor Reynolds about his glasses situation, but the gesture was too late, Peeves having dropped them just as she pointed, and a loud crunch filling the room.

Poor Professor Reynolds...

SPOILER!!: professor reynolds

Alice watched Professor Reynolds clean up the mess and attempt to get the class to focus again. She shifted her focus back to the cards and trying to figure out what each of them meant. "Doesn't Ace of Pentacles mean reward, safety, grounded, or a new start?" Alice hoped she wasn't repeating what someone else had already said, but she had been so distracted by Peeves it may have been possible she missed someone saying it.

Minor Arcana. What was that? Preston shrugged his shoulders and turned the pages in his book, hoping maybe that would clear some things up. "Th-th-there's some-something a-a-about w-w-wands a-a-and b-b-batons." He spoke aloud, forgetting to raise his hand.

She raised her hand. Again. Fee really liked Divination, it was one of her fave subjects.

"Well, there is a card thats called"the fool" it represents naivety and childlike innocence but yet wisdom."
"Good answers," Nolan smiled at the students. "The Minor Arcana is a fascinating deck, because each card as multiple means--it has a meaning for the suit, for the number, etc." he explained. "The number of possible outcomes you can derive from reading them is nearly endless!"

Because of this, as per his usual, he took the opportunity to engage in a little light napping at the back of the class. He had learned a charm that made it appear his eyes were open even when they were shut and so it was off to dreamland for Eli.

Zzzzzzzzzz...

He awoke with a start at the sound of a familiar female voice. "Pentacles!" he shouted out, not really certain why; perhaps he had caught the word subconsciously during his nap.
GLARE.

Nolan would have probably continued to overlook the boy sleeping, which would have been super lucky for the boy--with his little outburst however, he caught his attention.

"I'm sorry that I'm not able to hold your attention," Nolan told the boy with a sigh. "1 point from Ravenclaw for napping during class. I suggest you rest up tonight so you don't do it in your next classes as well," he explained.

He checked his watch and...EEEP! Peeves had taken up so much time! Sigh. "Alright class, I'm afraid due to our little...visitor, time has run short on us today. The project I had in mind for our practical portion of this lesson will now be your homework, but I'm sure a number of you will still enjoy it," he explained with a smile. They should be happy about that. His original plan for this homework assignment had been an ESSAY.

"Now, before I dismiss you, please write me a small paragraph--actually, a paragraph is stretching it, perhaps just a sentence or two--explaining which deck you'd choose to use on a daily basis and why. For example, my favorite deck is the Celestial deck, because it mixes astrology with tarot card reading to give more unique results, and it's got pretty designs on each of the cards," he added. True story. They were so fun to look at! "You can find a list in your text, and since there's nearly 1000 different decks in there, I'm sure you can all find something, even if you're not a true believer in the tarot cards," he added with a chuckle.

"Homework will be posted later this afternoon on the bulletin boards. So, write your paragraph, hand it in and you're free to leave!" he said with a smile.
