"Thank you," Nolan said with a smile, finally dropping the spell since the students were putting the orbs away. YAYYY! Minimal damage had been done.
"It's really alright, I've got a number of pairs lying around my office," he said with a chuckle.
Yes, the glasses he wasn't too broken up about. But the ORBS...oh the orbs. Sniffle.

Clapclapclapclapclap. She applauded.
Haha. WHY didn't she own a camera! "Your face was PRICELESS there!" Priceless.
Next Hogsmeade trip, she was getting a camera. And bringing it EVERYWHERE.
GLARE.
Nolan first glared at the Ravenclaw, and then, he blushed, cause he was sure he really did look ridiculous when he had been freaking out over the orbs. His collection was priceless! Of course he had been worried!
Lesson learned. Those orbs were going IN his Gringotts vault ASAP.

But this was too annoying. That creature was making it impossible to sleep and if any of those crystal balls shoudl hit someone (especially Evelyn) the poltergesit was going to pay for that. Ooooor he was going to pay for that right now!
So standing up in a sudden, he handled his Hazel wand and aimed it at Peeves. He did not know it the spell would work yet he did not care. He did not even care what Peeves would do to him if the spell would not work on him. ''Immobulus!'' he yelled his wand still aimed at the poltergeist. Then he glanced at Evelyn to see if she was okay. She seemed to be all right. Good good.

She'd never be able to fix glass that shattered, if it had been her glasses. But they wreen't, and she was sure the Proffessor was a much better spell caster than her. He was a Proffessor, after all.
And he was obviously a good spell caster, because he'd stopped those Crystal Balls! A few had fallen onto the floor and shattered, though. She hurried over to the shelf as he gave the instructions, bending to pick up one hovering just above the floor. That was close! She set it on a little stand thing, and bent down to pick up another. The she realised, there were going to be lots of people doing that, so stepped back a little. She was going to clean up all the glass. 'Accio broken Crystal Balls!' she called, and one or two with little cracks came zooming towards her, as well as a whole load of glass.
She put the more-or-less intact ones on her desk for the time being - there was only one, actually - and then focused on the glass shards. She directed them to Proffesor Reynolds' desk, figuring he could fix them with magic. Or maybe superglue, who knows?
Nolan smiled as the orbs were cleaned up promptly with the help of the students.
"Thank you very much, students! I'll attempt to repair the orbs later, although I'm not sure how successful I'll be," he said, his voice trailing off. SNIFFLE. Two orbs lost, how sad!

"I think he's gone!" he exclaimed in a whisper.
Wait, why was he whispering? Peeves didn't scare him!
"I think he's gone!" he announced to the rest of the class.
GOOD! They could continue with the class, except time was now a bit of an issue...blehhh.
"Good answers! Please, continue to list the specific cards of the Minor Arcana and their meanings!" he said, waving his wand to clean up the excess debris from the little ruckus Peeves had caused.
