Then, making sure she got his point, he continued on with a shake of his head. "I can't think of any way that ensures she doesn't lose her faith in me. But I also have a feeling she should know." Well, that was for sure, she needed to know. It was just a matter of how. Looking over Marie, he expected her to say something. She was the girl, she knew better, considering he sucked at explaining things.
GAH!
Why was Evan so determined to take all the blame here. Marie knew she was just as much at fault as he was. "
Yes, it was your decision to kiss me but it was also MY decision to kiss you back. The truth is we are both at fault here." she said.
"I however have nothing to lose, I have no boyfriend to care about what I do. You on the other hand have someone who cares about you. Don't screw that up. Kissing me isn't worth you losing a great girl." Marie felt the tears stinging her eyes. It finally hit her... Carter really had broken up with her. Not only that but he couldn't even stand to be around her for more than two minutes at a time.
"I really don't know what to tell you to say to her." she said wiping away the tears.
"Whatever you tell her though you are going to have to prove to her that she means a lot to you, that you want no one other than her. Even if that means you telling her you won't be friends with me anymore." Yeah, Marie had a feeling that if Mina found this out she was going to lose a friend for sure. Well two friends actually... Evan
and Mina.
Yeah, her year was just getting better and better here.
