It seemed that Hogwarts was more lax about the appearance of their students than some Muggle schools he had seen around the world. In Eben's mind, proper attire and proper wearing of that attire set an example for everyone and it was even more vital now that they had guests at the school participating in some sort of tournament.

Mathieu had to chuckle softly with amusement at Deus's comment - always count on that boy to add in his extra commentary - before turning back to the new kid.
He rose his dark eyebrows slightly as the newbie asked if all students were generally as messy-looking as him, or if he was starting a new trend. Math let it slide. Could it be possible? There were actually other Ravenclaws out there besides Deus who were more than just bookworms and nerds?
By his words, he sounded like a new student, but that was a Ravenclaw uniform he was wearing, not the uniform of one of those foreign kids who were roaming around the castle. "What, are you new?" he asked.
