Alicia turned to look at Jamie, who was sitting in the corner of the room playing chess with Ron.

“Are you going to start your homework or not?” She snapped, turning a page in her text book angrily. They ignored her and continued with their game. “Am I speaking a different language to you or something?”

“It’s Saturday, Alicia... Let’s just relax for once!” Ron said, giving her a quick smile as Jamie’s queen smashed into his pawn.

“Relax?” She said, snapping her book shut. Ron dropped the smile quickly and Jamie jumped, tipping the board up. “Relax?” The chess pieces ran in several directions as Chrookshanks, Pidgeon and Mud dived at them. “We’re nearing our N.E.W.T’s and you’re sitting there playing chess! We can’t relax until we pass them!” She said, glaring at them.

“All right... Calm down, Ali- we’ll study in a minute” Jamie said in a soothing voice. Alicia sniffed and opened her book again. Jamie waited until she was scribbling away again before bending to retrieve the chess board.

“Accio board!” Alicia said, pointing her wand towards them. “Nice try... Now, study”
