Brielle was gutted, all that waste for nothing, she had chosen the wrong path. It seemed it was destiny for her to smell like cat vomit.
Darting back between the vines Brielle sprinted back up the tunnel, the sound of the Honking Daffodils growing louder and louder with her every stride. Rounding a small bend, they returned in sight, but she didn't stop, the determination drowned out their noise.
Running, running, on and on her legs pumped moving her back, undoing all the work she had done.
But she did not complain, she just kept running.
The smell filled her nostrils, she knew where she was, and not even slowing her step, Brielle turned and plunged head first into the Cave of Stench.
