It was just Kale had asked a girl out once and she flat out told him no and then made fun of him for 2 years after ward. He had just now finally gotten over it. So he was scared Leilani would do the same thing. "And maybe you can meet my mom..." Kale's palms began to sweat and his heart rate was increasing....
