Hugging his jacket closer to himself, even though he had about two thin grey sweaters underneath and a warm shirt, including a dark blue scarf on, he was still cold. But he continued to walk around on the grounds anyways, finding that getting some fresh air cleared his mind enough to help him study for a few more hours.
Finding himself near a patch of pumpkins however, the Beauxbatons student stopped for a moment, debating whether to observe more of the place, or head on over to the lake where he intended to go in the first place. It was decided though, when he saw a girl at the pumpkin patch. Not just any girl though. She was...
"You are wearing a dress? In zis weazer?" He didn't want to sound rude, though his tone held more of a surprise in it. Was she not bothered by the cold? It did not...make sense to him.
Iris looked up when someone spoke to her. She was just expecting it to be one of the Hogwarts bunch... But that accent was awfully French. As Iris' eyes made their way skywards, She smiled slighty. Ah, yes. He WAS one of the French ones.
How did she know? Because even the French Hogwartians weren't
that cute.
But still... Back to his question.
"Um... Yes." She grinned to herself at his question. Really, It's not like she was bare legged or anything. Her tights were actually quite warm.
"I only really own dresses." She added, as if it were self explanatory. Wardrobe full of dresses = Wearing dresses in all weathers.
"The weather isn't that bad, anyway. The snow's not hit us, yet." Iris looked up at the boy and smiled shyly. She wondered if it would be better for her to stand up... Or just stay sat in her comfortable spot on the ground.
He really seemed genuinely suprised to see Iris sat there, in a dress... Funny people, these French. Iris clearly didn't have much of her families genes in her... Or the Yorkshire folk just had a bigger influence. Eh...
"I'm Iris... Iris Beaumont." She only really introduced herself because of how Vladimir said it was rude and what not... She didn't really want ALL the visitors to think that Iris didn't have any sense of manners, after all.
