Alice didn't know what Quidditch was?! Blinking at her for a moment Jeremy turned to the class instead and ignored all the raised hands for a moment. "Can anybody explain to young Alice here what Quidditch is?" Because they were supposed to help each other...he was actually quite surprised that nobody had explained it to her yet.
Alice had never felt her cheeks turn so red in her entire life. How could her mother not have explained these things to her? She might have well have been a complete muggle born since her mother was not making any effort to tell her anything about this world.

Turning to the girl in question he raised one eyebrow at her questioningly. "Did that answer your question?" He wanted to know with a friendly grin. Though, that question probably didn't need an answer. After Trixie's explanation Alice definitely knew every little detail about the game.
"Yes, that explained it very well thanks," Alice said, shrinking deeper into her chair.
"A muggle could use a bat for baseball," Alice offered quietly.
