"And, for you information," he added, straightening his back a little more, "I'm as MUCH of a third year as you are - I just didn't come here for my first year, is all."

"Bet you CAN'T," Vashti challenged, leaning forward slightly because... Well, she honestly wasn't sure. She'd seen it in movies though, and apparently leaning towards your opponent was intimidating or something. How intimidating a thirteen-year-old Ravenclaw witch could look she wasn't sure, but she hoped it was a lot.

"Who's this 'us' you speak of? Do you have an imaginary, invisible friend sitting beside you now?" she asked, still grinning teasingly. She was having loads of fun with this and she hoped Ty was as well (and it certainly looked like he was). She'd forgotten how much fun this could be. "And for your information, I was definitely NOT spraying anyone with bread. I'm pretty sure the bread just turned evil and tried to suffocate me."

OH MERLIN. IT ALL MADE SENSE NOW.

Trixie had said that the runes on her O.W.L. said that Vashti was evil on the inside. And that had seemed weird at first, BUT the runes were actualyl technically right! That bread had been inside her and had tried to suffocate and kill her, which was a very evil thing to do! WOW, those runes WERE right! She'd have to tell Trixie when she saw the girl again.

"You're chickening out on me? Really?" Vashti asked, pretending to frown and be upset (it was hard though). She wasn't going to let him know that she actually hadn't said all that with a mouth full of bread. Let him THINK she was that awesome at fast talking. She could intimidate him that way. Heh heh

"But technically since you've only been here two years, you're like a second year," she replied, sticking her tongue out at him. Because she was that mature. "So there."
