Entry 2

I have no clue where I am as the dream starts. I'm standing very straight and very still. I'm anxious, even though I don't know why yet. I know I'm wearing my low-heel shoes, and it feels like I'm wearing a skirt, but I'm being very sure not to move. All of a sudden, I hear the sound of the air cutting, and something flies right over the top of my head; I hear it hit the ground. I scream. I duck, even though it's over, and hold my hands in front of my head. Turning, I get down on my hands and knees to search for whatever it was. I notice that I'm on carpet, but the air around me dosen't feel like I'm in a closed room.

After crawling about fifteen feet, my hands encounter something. It's long and thin and straight--but in the middle of it is something hard and round. Then, at the other end, something sharp. It's an arrow, pointing away from me. Upon feeling the stem, I realize that the hard something is an apple that must've been sitting on top of my head. Still holding the arrow and apple, I stand, and as I do, the air around me changes. Now the air is very warm--almost hot--and I know I'm in a very small room.

Reaching out in front of me, I immediately encounter a table--small and square. On it is the goblet of fire. I set the arrow down and feel my hands along the goblet. Even though the air is hot from the flames, my fingers aren't burned by the flame. I reach into it--unsure why I do so--and pull out a letter. When I open it, I throw the envelope back into the flames and un-fold the paper. I can't read it--but I know it has words written on it by the indentations in the paper.

Folding it back up, I search for a way out. I can't breathe, the air is so hot. After a moment, I kneel to the floor, but there's nothing but smooth wall. I start to cough as the air gets hotter, and finally I feel so heavy I give up looking for a way out. I curl up on the floor, and just as I do, I jump as I feel a snake slither over me, not bothering to stop. And then I wake up.
