 Yeahhh, Mr White! Yeah science!
Nathan was a little taken aback when he detected what seemed like malice in the little redheaded girl's voice. His heavily lidded eyes opened a little wider and he blinked, confused. Had he said something wrong? Was this girl really so uncomfortable in this setting? But she was smiling a moment later and Nathan decided that he was obviously reading things wrongly. He did that a lot.
He nodded. “Yes. All the photos and questions. It would be what put me off putting my name forward if I'd ever had this opportunity.” He chuckled lightly. “I'm sure you just want to get on with battling dragons and what not, don't you?” She looked like she could take on a dragon did this little redheaded hurricane.
She looked so frightened. Nathan looked at her, his body language relaxed and open, willing her to just... chillax... like he was. There was no need for the rabbit in the headlights look she had going on.
But she WAS familiar...
Forgetting the apple core and his head being used as a target, he frowned ever so slightly when she said she had never worked in the Leaky. How strange. “You jus' seem so familiar.” He mumbled, slighlty embarrassed and scratched the back of his head.
He glanced at the boy taking unflattering candids and back at the girl.
Wait a second...
Unflattering photographs?

“You're..” WAIT FOR IT... wait for eeeeeeeeeeeeett...
Lightbulb.

He KNEW he knew that face! He'd seen that face in an unflattering photograph of her and Ollie! “You're Cameron Caddock? You're Oliver's girl!” He grinned at the wee lassy. “Merlin. It's a real pleasure.” He held out his hand to shake hers. “I've heard so much about you. I had no idea you were a champion.” She was cute. Oliver was a lucky lad indeed.
