A sickness? Could that be it? Could he have caught whatever his mom had? She wasn't sure, but it sure was possible. He had never told her exactly what the woman had.
"It could be a sickness," She shrugged, the hex was unlikely, but the sickness. Maybe.
"Our friendship's not gonna weaken." She said almost defiantly. The girl just was just confused, and he wasn't helping her much with it.
