Alice nodded in thanks at him making more chairs so she could have a spot to sit. She carefully read his facial expression as she asked her question. His wink and smirk seemed friendly enough, but Alice had a terrible feeling that she had offended him. "Professor, I didn't mean to imply that I thought your class would be boring because I am a muggle. In fact I feel quite the opposite. I love learning about things from different people's perspectives." Alice could feel herself blushing from embarrassment. Perhaps she was completely off and he hadn't been offended at all? Alice looked down at her lap. Confidence. That was definitely a character trait of hers that needed some work.
