...to be stopped by a little girl. Again. Hopefully, this one wasn't as rude as Brittany.
"Nope," he said, stating the obvious fact. Did he look to be having a partner? Though, as he didn't want to frighten the girl, he added more politely "We can be partners." Even though the girl was a firstie, maybe she could still help.
Just as he watched the girl walk away to peer around the corner, he saw a familiar blondie approach.
Relieving slightly--not that he was afraid on his own, he just trusted Marie's magical abilities more--he grinned at her. "Yeah, well... I and..." uh, what was the girl's name? Shrug. "we," he corrected himself, "were trying to find our way out. Wanna join us?" Please?
Phew, he wasn't mad that she almost ran into him.
"Um yeah, I'll work with you guys." Marie said as she looked ahead at the girl who was heading around the corner.
"Maybe we better get up there with her and see if she needs any help." she said as she walked toward the girl.
Rounding the corner herself she stopped dead in her tracks. The biggest two she had ever seen was blocking the way. Well what were they supposed to do now? Marie being who she was just wanted to punch it and make it move but she knew that wouldn't work.
"Um, I think we have a little problem here," she said turning back to Evan. What the heck was she going to do now? The thing was just standing there, not moving at all.
Thinking about what the number two meant she remembered something about unity. She looped her arm with Evan uniting them as a team. Now all they needed to do was grab the little firstie and unite her with them and they would be able to pass by freely.
"If you loop your arm through hers we should be able to go by," she said to Evan as she looked over at the little girl.
