He grinned when she finished speaking, "I suppose you couldn't tell me vhat happens, since," he tilted his head a little, to get a better look at the book, "you 'ave not finished." Unless she was like him and liked to read the last page first. If the ending was horrible, he knew it would be a waste of time reading it.
Lauren didn't think he would listen to her? He was shocked! Not really, but he put on a fake shocked expression to amuse her, "Vhy vould you think I vouldn't listen? I listen to everyone vhen they talk to me." Well, he listened to the pretty ladies speak.
And Lauren was definitely pretty.
Lauren smiled when he tilted his head
"No I haven't finished, maybe when I do I'll tell you how predictable the ending is." She grinned knowing they'd probably end up together in the end. She giggled at his shock face, he was so cute.
"I'm sure you listen to everyone." She said shaking her head, thoroughly amused.
"I'm also sure the only people you truly ever listen to are the girls you like. And when I say like, I mean the girls you'd consider datin', not the little girls chasin' you, those girls are your play things. Am I wrong? Too forward?" She grinned looking up at him and tilting her hip to the other side.
