Hogwarts RPG Name: Reincarnation "Carr" Jones First Year | Muse of Xevis > | < Defender of Trearlonis > | < Elder of Gostrenac > | < Daughter of Eshoza SPOILER!!: Tony Quote:

I'll be right over, okay? I love you!" He made sure she hung up first so as not to seem rude, then ran out of the offices and to his car. He quickly started the engine and pulled out of the parking lot, heading out onto the road. "Please, please no! Not my daughter!" He whispered, pulling onto another street. He'd be there pretty soon. When you pull up to the sidewalk in front of your house, you don't see anyone at the door. In fact... you don't see anyone. Which is very strange, because you live in the type of neighborhood where someone is always gardening or mowing the lawn, or just taking a walk. It's eerily quiet. SPOILER!!: Charlie Quote:

When finally, that monotone voice came over the loud speaker, telling him ... that his flight, had been, ... delayed. -.-. lovely. He slumped back in his chair, and pulled out his phone, he might as well let his boss know that he quit, just in case he didn't come back. It was a scary thought, he had been to paranoid to actually get to know anyone, but some people he had got to know, like his next door neighbour, at first they had seemed nosey, but know he realised they just meant well. He fiddled with the phone in his hand, it wasn't in the best condition, but it still worked ... kinda. The little old lady was looking at her knitting patterns, without a care in the world ... lucky. You call your boss. The phone rings five times before a very harried-sounding woman picks up the phone and says, "Wendy's Walkabouts, will you hold?" SPOILER!!: Sienna Quote:

When Jessica mentioned a note she had received, Sienna was distracted from her mission, though. "Did you get it just now?" she inquired, eyebrows raised as a thought occurred to her. Someone must have been hanging around their house in order to deliver their messages, right? "I hope no one's spying on us." She said the last part quietly, looking to and fro like she expected someone to hop out of the refrigerator or slip through the wall. After a moment of this, the woman lowered her eyes, unfolding the note in her hand once more. "I hope they say the same thing." she replied, holding it out to Jessica so she could take a look.
Sienna jumped, surprised when she heard the knock on the door. They got visitors every once in a while... but certainly not so early in the morning. She looked over at her sister, her eyebrows going up even further. "At this hour." she muttered sourly, a little annoyed. She wanted to talk to her sister about the notes they had received- not tend to some silly child wanting her to buy a magazine subscription or a bag of popcorn.... whatever silly children went around selling these days. "Be right back." A disdainful expression on her face, Sienna made her way out of the cramped kitchen and into their living room. Once she reached the front door, she peeked through the mail slot, just to be careful. Clever girl. You see a pair of legs in black dress pants surrounded by the folds of a black cloak. Still, he had a feeling that the coin was there for a reason. An UMBRA reason. He reached his hand out and touched the coin, instantly he felt a cold chill down his spine. That was right before the tug happened and he felt the tug at his navel. The familiar feeling of being spun into the air that came with portkey's.
ooc: sorry for the long break in writing getting ready for a trip to California where i'll have to drive back to Vermont from (gah), and also...just got a job! OOC: No worries. I make this game very flexible around its players. You are the essential part of an RP, after all. Nothing happens (because, sometimes, nothing does). The coin feels cool to the touch. SPOILER!!: Seth Quote:

He was sure it was that Martin prat, but he'll deal with him later. He heard a gun shot and the cackling voice of the nutter from inside the house. The woman's shrieking hurt his ears, and was unpleasant against his eardrums. His nerves that were already strechted to breaking point got the better of him. He was very angry. Seriously angry.
If Seth remembered something about his past, he would've known that he shouldn't act when he was angry, cause his anger was different. His late parents were always afraid of the tantrums he threw as a child, and tried to let him get his way in nearly everything because of his nerve problem. Now however, Seth remembered practically nothing, which made him a danger to people surrounding him rather than himself. And he hadn't felt this angry for a while. A very long while indeed.
And then he did a very reckless move, a move that he'd be horrified later about, but right now it felt good. He was taking out his anger. He ran up to the house and threw all his weight onto the door which burst open leaving his shoulder throbbing. The deputies around him had no time to react, their shock about what he'd done left them immobile. He marched into the house and as he'd guessed before, the lunatic was in the living room which the door opened to. He walked towards him, the man tried to react instinctively but the sudden appearance of a cop inside the house unnereved him. Seth Adriano walked towards him, hit him hard on the face once, twice...
Then he had him in a hand-lock, with his arms behind his back.
His anger still on the surface, he pulled him outside the house behind him, cuffed his hand and led him to his police wagon. Everyone was silent around him. You're in such a state of fury that you ignore everyone as you take the suspect to your car and take him back to the station. It's breaking half a dozen protocols, but you don't see much of anything right now. When you get him off to the tank and get yourself back to the office, it's clear that your actions have reached everyone. Some of the rookies grin at you and give you a thumbs up, but most of the older officers either act wary of you or look apologetic. "Daniels!" shouts an angry voice to your right. You sigh. Chief. |
