ooc:
! Poor Ferris.
Vianna was absentmindedly admiring the water filling up the tub, like a child on Christmas morning, as Ferris came to join her and awarded her a kiss to the cheek, announcing he was now going to leave her alone with her bathtub. The girl laughed lightly at the way he put it, and nodded her head, turning around to face him and pecking his lips gently for a brief moment. "I'll see you in a little bit, Professor," she promised with a smile, though it would be naive of the young man to believe that. Vianna never took just 'a little bit' in a bath, and it wasn't everyday she got the chance to have a lazy morning, so she was definitely making plans to stay here much longer than she usually would. The girl watched him go after he announced he was going to go tend to his stomach while she bathed, and once he was gone and the door closed, she began to prepare for her bath.
Meanwhile, out in the suite…
It was still early morning, and the golden light that showered the furniture of the living room gave everything a warm glow, though it wasn't overwhelmingly hot yet. There were voices in the kitchen and the smell of food in the air, and inside were Victor, Airi, and a drowsy Vince. Victor and Airi were already showered and changed, looking ready to leave the suite as soon as they were done with their breakfast. Vince, on the other hand, was still in his pajamas, his hair looked like he had just rolled out of bed two minutes ago, and his features gave the impression that he probably didn't get much sleep the night before. But then again, he looked like that every morning for years now.
The young man seemed to awaken as Ferris stepped into the room, though. No better alarm clock for him than a free opportunity to make fun of Ferris one way or another; and now that he was walking into the room with no Vianna at his side to defend him, Vince just felt all the more inspired to prey upon the innocent victim.
Victor was the first to speak, though. "Good morning, Montgom--"
"
Merlin! What happened to your neck!?" asked a bewildered Vince, all intentions of causing trouble leaving his features and being replaced by horror instead. Victor's eyebrows rose slightly and his gaze fell to Ferris's neck. Neither one of the brothers said anything for a moment there, their matching crystal blue eyes narrowing at the poor bloke who'd just waltzed right in innocently. "Is that… are those…"
Victor made a face. "Of course. How naive of us to think that the spectacle would end last night. You two have no shame, do you?" he asked Ferris, obviously referring to both him and Vianna. "What, are you trying to compete with Vince and Julia now?" he asked, raising an eyebrow.
Vince's jaw dropped at this insult. "
Hey! Julia doesn't do
that to my neck!" he said in his defense. "I wish she did, though," he muttered a little more quietly, more to himself than to the others as his gaze fell to his plate for a brief moment before returning to Ferris. "This isn't Vi's fault, though. It's him - he' putting stuff in her food and drink, I tell you. Vi wouldn't do something like that unless she was under the effect of a potion, and we all know Ferris Wheel was the biggest nerd in Hogwarts. He probably knows all about potions they wouldn't even teach us about in class," he explained, sounding quite confident of his theory. And though it seemed improbable, he knew he had all of Victor's support. Neither brother was willing to admit that their little sister was a savage who liked to attack her husband's neck, no way. To them she was always going to the victim in the situation, and Ferris just the ugly toad that tricked her into believing he was Prince Charming.
