Alice nodded in understanding.
"We had a fortune teller come to my elementary school once, and she made some pretty big claims about where people would be five years from now. If I remember correctly she told me that I would be a teenage prodigy singing on Broadway." Alice chuckled at the memory. She was an atrocious singer.
"I suppose if I told her I was actually a witch at a magic school she would probably think I belong in a loony bin somewhere." Alice thought back to five years ago...if only she had known then what she was, perhaps it would have explained so much.
