Aiden smiled. He was glad to see that Rhea was so exuberant, even if he was feeling quite the opposite. But he really didn't want to be a downer, so he did very well in acting all happy. And he was, of course. He was happy for her.
Whuuut?! A wide grin suddenly broke out upon Aiden's face. "He did? Sweet! I'm really happy for you, Rhea." Hah. He could only imagine just how excited she was about this. Well... her expression was evidence enough. "When did he ask you? And I'm sure he's a good guy if you like him," he nodded. The girl had been going on about this Jack guy for ages now, so hearing that they were finally together was great news.
When she directed the question at him, he smile waned slightly. "I'm all right." Hah. Yeah. Riiight. "Ella and I broke up," he admitted, glumly. Though he couldn't ask for sympathy from anyone. It was his fault. Entirely. "But let's not linger on that.. so, it's about time you get a new boyfriend, other than the Snake Man." Hehhh.
Rhea was excited yes, but she wasn't so caught u in herself that she hadn't noticed Aiden's subdued demeanour. Aiden had always been so tight lipped about all the stuff going on with him that she was feeling the need to press him more about it but for now she would let him go.
She nodded and smiled widely at him. Jack had only asked her a day or two ago and she had been floating on cloud nine since.
"Yes he didn than you. She beamed at her best friend.
" He asked me a couple of days ago. I never thought he would though."
Rhea frowned. Aiden seemed so sad and she hated that. She always wanted him happy but it seemed right now he wasn't and it was all because he and Ella broke up. She felt bad because she had wished for it many times with sav but she never imaged that it would like really bum him out.
" I'm sorry Aiden... And heeey don't call him that."
