He jumped. Almost out of his shoes.. until he realized it was Callie's shoes that had squeaked. He chuckcled at himself for being so stupid. He thought it was cute when she shushed her shoes. D'aww. He returned her smiled before taking her hand again. "Of course we can." he whispered. Pssshhh. Hopefully the statue couldn't hear him. Then it wouldn't know where to find them. Oh yeah. He was thinking ahead.
Jayce nodded when she told him she was alright. The Gryffindor began to tiptoe down the hallway, still gripping the younger girls hand. He wasn't letting her go just yet. He stopped for a moment to look back at the statue, making sure it wasn't following them. It wasn't.
But then she was pulling him down the hallway some more and he obediantly followed her, glad to get away from that.. that thing. "I'm coming, i'm coming." he grinned, following her some more. He threw one more glare down at the evil witch statue thing before turning his full attention on Callie. Yeap. She had fuuuuuull attention now.
He smiled brightly at her. "Of course we can. C'mon let's go." he said, going down the hall some more. "Shall we stop here then?" he asked, now that they were almost out of sight of the statue of EVIIIIL.
Callie gripped onto his hand as they both tiptoed down the corridor. It was pretty pointless for her because she'd decided to wear sneakers today and apparently they didn't call 'em sneakers for nothin'. Cus they made squeeaky sounds alottt. Meh. Or this pair did. As they reached what Callie thought to be a suitable place she stopped still holding onto Jayce's hand because it was warm, which she wasn't.
She nodded as he asked if they should stop here, although she'd already stopped. She looked up at him. MEH She'd better say thanks.
"Um Thanks." she said standing her tippytoes and kissing him on the cheek, yeah he was a stranger but she couldn't loose her cool all together. Meh. But no Kissing someone on the cheek wasn't as fun as kissing them properly but as she'd said he was a stranger so yeah she didn't wanna freak him out or anything maybe she would in a little while. Shrug.
