Jayce felt as if his hand were being crushed. Owwwies. It really hurt. And it just kept getting tighter.. and tighter.. and.. well.. tighter. Like a boa constricter or some sort of snake.. OUCH. And yes, she had every right to be scared. Because the witch WAS scary.
"It's okay." The Gryffindor whispered, hoping the witch couldn't hear. "I think we're safe now." He said, somewhat calmly. But on the inside, he definitely wasn't calm. He was FREAKING OUT. Had he been alone, he probably would have been talking to himself, and.. he might have run down the corridor by now.. but, he hadn't cause.. he didn't want to look like a complete idiot infront of this girl.
OOOOUUUUUUUCHHH. The girl screamed again, causing Jay-Jay to loose more of his hearing. At least he still had his eyes, right? And then the girl put her head on his shoulder, and he couldn't help but smile a bit. Awww. He put a comforting hand on the back of his head and attempted to make what he thought were soothing sounds.
"There, there." he whispered, hoping to calm her slightly. He was never really good at that type of thing.. but hey, A for effort right? "It's alright. You're okay now." Had Eirian been here, she probably would have laughed at him until she cried.
Ahhhh.. He was right. YUS. He didn't have to remember her name after all. But of course, once she said it, his brain went CLICK! again and he remembered it. "Hi Callie." he said softly. "It's nice to see you again." Wow, that sounded creepy. What if she didn't remember him? Stupid Jay, stupid.

Callie loosened her grip on Jayce's hand she didn't wanna cut off his circulation or break his hand. She still kept hold of his hand though because she felt safer that way.
"Um sorry if I hurt your hand btw." woah. That apology just Slid off her tounge. She never apologised, well she tried not to but yeah she thought she'd better. She clung onto him and sighed. She'd never been this scared in her lifeeeee.
The slytherin looked up at Jayce as he said it was okay. Okay ?! Was anything really OKAY ?! They could be about to be killed/eaten/made ugly by some ugly/jealous witch statue and Jayce was saying everything was OKAY ?! PSHT. Nothing was okay. Nothing. 'Sept for the fact that he had soft warm hands that was very okay. She looked back down at the floor before saying
"Not to worry you, but she could like move or something scary."
Callie bit her lip, she really needed to stop squeezing his hand so hard and screaming and shreiking. She was prolly defening him. She tighten her grip on his hand ever so slightly, this time being careful not to cut of his circulation or something horrid like that, that could cause him to faint. Meh. If he fainted he'd fall and then she would fall cus he was holding her hand. That wouldn't be gooood.
A smile formed on California's scared little face as he put his hand on the back of her head in attempt to comfort her.
"Thanks." she said wrapping her free arm around him. AWKWARD. She unwrapped it from around him forgetting he wasn't Jack. Meh they were alike. They both looked after her.
Again ? He obviously remembered her too.
"Hi. You too." she nodded with a small smile.
