Dear Mister Sinclair,
At this point Adam looked up. It wasn't too bad now, was it?
Am I writing to you because I have received a detention for my rude outburst to you about your dream with SHOES.I am sorry to hear or see that your feelings may be hurt, because I know somewhere deep down in my black heart that I have a SOUL.If there is anything I can do to make this up for you, please tell me so, as I would love to learn a life lesson from my GRAND mistake. If you had done that with my dream, which I know you would never had, I'd probably be a smidge hurt, but hey everyone feels different when it comes to life. Please do not hesitate to teach me a life lesson also, because this bad boy Burn needs it, and I too am not doing well. It's the mood I am in right now, but usually I never do such rude things.
Your Gryffindor Clasmate, Adam Burn.
It took him about 10 minutes to right this all down, as he stared off to space and made his feather roll forwards and backwards. After reading it a few times he handed it to the Professor.
"Here you go."
Nolan took the parchment from him and read it throughly a few times. Hmmm. A bit dramatic in his opinion, but at least he understood what he was getting at here -- that Riley was probably hurt by his outburst even if Adam thought he hadn't said anything bad. The real test would be if he snapped rudely at anyone else in the future.
"Alright Mister Burn, that'll do. I do hope you take this attention to heart and you refrain from further outbursts in the future...if I catch you behaving this way towards another student in the future, you'll have a much more unpleasant detention, I can assure you," he told him, wrinkling his eyebrows.
"You're dismissed." he told him, rolling up the parchment and sticking it in his cardigan pocket.
