"Im....scared.." she said biting her lip. PSHT. California Renee Parker wasn't scared of anything. 'Sept Spiders, and apparently this witch. The fourth year through her head onto the boys shoulder and shrieked again. Meh meh meh. She just wanted the witch to DISAPEAR! like CLICK.
She looked up at the boy, she probably wasn't making this any better for him. He was obviously scared to and she was overreacting a little but she was scared. She glanced over at the witch statue thing before screaming quietly and putting her head on his shoulder again. MEHMEHMEHMEH. She was scaaaaaaaared like More scared than she was of Spiders and they were scareh!
She didn't even notice that he didn't answer her question, well she did but she didn't care because she was more worried about being eaten than when he was just looking for an excuse to hold her hand or not.
She looked up at him again as he spoke. JAYCE! She remembered him now. He was at the owl shop with Lucy and Mia. "Hi. Im Callie." she smiled she was too scared to tell him she remembered him.

Jayce felt as if his hand were being crushed. Owwwies. It really hurt. And it just kept getting tighter.. and tighter.. and.. well.. tighter. Like a boa constricter or some sort of snake.. OUCH. Then the girl was shrieking and it seemed as though she was trying to make Jay deaf and injured all at the same time. But he understood why, the girl was scared. And yes, she had every right to be scared. Because the witch WAS scary.
"It's okay." The Gryffindor whispered, hoping the witch couldn't hear. "I think we're safe now." He said, somewhat calmly. But on the inside, he definitely wasn't calm. He was FREAKING OUT. Had he been alone, he probably would have been talking to himself, and.. he might have run down the corridor by now.. but, he hadn't cause.. he didn't want to look like a complete idiot infront of this girl.
OOOOUUUUUUUCHHH. The girl screamed again, causing Jay-Jay to loose more of his hearing. At least he still had his eyes, right? And then the girl put her head on his shoulder, and he couldn't help but smile a bit. Awww. He put a comforting hand on the back of his head and attempted to make what he thought were soothing sounds.
"There, there." he whispered, hoping to calm her slightly. He was never really good at that type of thing.. but hey, A for effort right? "It's alright. You're okay now." Had Eirian been here, she probably would have laughed at him until she cried.
Ahhhh.. He was right. YUS. He didn't have to remember her name after all. But of course, once she said it, his brain went CLICK! again and he remembered it. "Hi Callie." he said softly. "It's nice to see you again." Wow, that sounded creepy. What if she didn't remember him? Stupid Jay, stupid.
