"Have you tried to talk to him, I mean after the little break you two have had over the last two weeks?" Patroclus had said to Marie on the train at the end of last year that absence made the heart grow fonder, or something along those lines, and perhaps it had, "Maybe by you being distant, Carter thinks you don't want him to come back to you. I am a guy, and if it was me, I thougth the girl I was in love with was giving me space, it would make me think that rather than her wanting to work on our problems, she would be wanting to be rid of me!" Patroclus hoped that made sence.

"I think what you two need to do, is find a place, where it is just you two," he heavily stressed the last part, "and just talk it out, away from everyone else, away from Kay, away from Destiny. just you two, alone!"
