Once Jayce was done speaking she felt like it was needed for her to help him cheer up a little.
"Jayce," Hayley paused, taking a seat next to him on the pumpkin, not caring if her skirt got dirty or not because her friend was in need, "I really am truly sorry for what I did and of course I regret kissing you for what happened. It was wrong and don't you dare tell me it wasn't." She said, lying a little. She didn't regret it at all, but she kind of did for what happened between Trixie and him. She felt horrible really. "The feeling will be over soon, trust me. I've been through this situation before. It will just take some time." She added.
Hayley stood up once again, brushing all the dirt from her white skirt from the pumpkin. "Alright, stand up we're going to do something that always cheers me up when something like this happens." She said holding out her hand with a smile planted upon her face. He would never know what was going to be in store for him.
Jayce watched Hayley closely, keeping his head up so that he could stare into her eyes once he was done talking. As she moved towards him, and took a seat, it put a slight smile on his face. Gahhh. He couldn't help but smile, even if it was a small one, while Hayley was in his presence.
"I know, but it doesn't matter now. What's in the past is well.. in the past." he replied, truthfully. "We can't change it now, can we. And i can honestly say that i don't really regret that kiss." Okay.. maybe just a little, but what did it matter now? No use dwelling on it, right? Even though he was sorta stuck on the break-up. "I
do trust you." Jayce replied earnestly, staring into her eyes, once again. Those pretty eyes, and her new blond hair.. it.. it reminded him of.. of.. her..
Siiiiiiiiiiiigh.
Jayce tilted his head, following her with his eyes as she stood and dusted her skirt off. "What? Merlin's beard, what are you going to do with me?" he asked before taking her hand and standing himself. "What are we going to do? Or more importantly, where in the world are you taking me?"
