Arya grinned at Sabel. "One of the things we're gonna do. You don't have to be awake, you can sleep." Though it wouldn't be as fun if he were sleeping. "On the lake, I'll let you know when we do it." Who knew when that would be with the weather changing. She had spotted Danika in the patch, but didn't pay the girl much mind. "Do you skate, Sabel?" "Something to do, but you don't have to be awake." A confused frown laced his brow as he switched his hold on Arya's hand to one that was more secure. He wasn't comfortable with the way she had wobbled; obviously the patch was getting harder to maneuver. "Are you, a sphinx in disguise?" Because that, was definitely a riddle.
The next question though, was rather straight forward and brought a laugh from him. "Skate? Arya, that's like asking if I do gymnastics. Well, sort of. I know how to skate but, there's something about me and slippery surfaces that don't mix. We forgot to sign a contract or something when I was a kid and my parents signed me up for hockey lessons." Shaking his head incredulously at the memory, he took another careful step over a rather twisted vine. "I must have thought horizontal was vertical for the number of times I face-planted the ice." So, was that by definition, being able to skate?
