Vianna gave a light, brief giggle as Ferris narrowed his brown eyes at her, a sign that she understood perfectly well. But she said nothing, allowing a comfortable silence to fall between the two of them, a silence in which they quietly admired each other's features, realizing at that moment how much they had really missed each other. It felt wonderful to be back at his side, in his arms, placing kisses on his lips. The girl's smile was brighter than ever before. It was then that Ferris spoke, breaking their silence to share with the girl that she had no idea how nice it had felt when she cuddled up next to him. At this, Vianna's cheeks grew pink once again, obviously still a little embarrassed that Ferris hadn't really been asleep and had been aware, all along, of her presence there. "I thought you were asleep," she confessed softly, her smile growing a bit smaller and turning sheepish. "I was scared half to death when I opened my eyes and saw you there," she added with a soft chuckle, her blue eyes long having left his own brown ones, absentmindedly examining the fabric of his t-shirt instead. "But, even so... I'm glad you were up," she admitted, returning her blue eyes to him, her cheeks still pink and her features still a little sheepish. But there was honesty in her voice, and after a moment of just admiring the sight before her, the girl lowered her head, so that it was now resting on his chest, using it as a pillow.
