Vianna couldn't help but laugh lightly at Ferris's last words, amused by how he even seemed to sound a bit guilty for feeling the way he did, though it was completely understandable. "It
is nice," the girl agreed with a smile, her crystal blue eyes absentmindedly following her fingers as they moved all across the young man's shirt, leaving behind them a trail of invisible patterns. "I don't think we've been able to just just... relax like this in... over a year? Now with Gabe's cries, and before that with the pregnancy... There never seemed to be a night we could just sit without a baby crying or a baby kicking or morning sickness disrupting the peace," she said with a small smile. But all of it was true. They hadn't really had a chance to be like this - relaxed, calm, even lazy, in what felt like ages. It was great to finally be able to take a break from all that, they deserved it.
