I saved her in time, but she was hospitalized for months. It was dreadful for me to think of. I cried for days on end because of that dream." She said strongly, doing well not to be a total baby and cry. Sapphinelle lifted her head to look at Professor Reynolds. "I'm very overprotective of my mother, and she's been sick for as long as I can remember. It's hard to not think about her a lot, and I'm scared something will happen to her." she said with her french accent in a sad tone.
Nolan blinked. Oh my. That was a nightmare if he ever heard of one.
"I'm so sorry, I'm sure that mustn't have been pleasant," he remarked. Obviously it wasn't pleasant. But still...what did one say to that?

"I'd recommend thinking back to the first dream you can remember," he said.
"Everyone dreams during the night, sometimes 4 or 5 times in one night! Unfortunately, some people remember their dreams more often than others," he added with a small frown.

"You often don't remember how dreams begin," Nolan explained to Dianna.
"The things you remember are often the highlights of the dream, the things that are really memorable. It's not uncommon to have gaps when you're trying to write down the dream, where the action suddenly changes and makes no sense," he added.

Nolan smiled at Rae. He never saw her participate in class much...he must have an interesting lesson for her to start now! SUCCESS.
"Of course Miss Rae, go ahead. Your's will be the last dream we hear before I assign homework," he said, sitting back on his desk.

Nolan's attention was suddenly drawn to not one, but TWO new arrivals to the class. They had nearly missed the entire lesson and just walked in late, announcing their arrival. They did not seem to notice that the class was already in session, but still -- this was one too many distractions and he just couldn't let it slide anymore.
"Girls, the class is already in session...in fact, it's nearly over with. 1 point from Slytherin and another from Gryffindor for tardiness," he said with a sigh.
Maybe next lesson he'd use scented candles or something to keep them alert to what was going on. Or maybe he'd get the gong out again. THAT was always an option.
