Daniel hated the staircase. You had to wait ages for the stairs to move and what if you accedentilly stepped over the edge? Yeah you would die. Who designed this thing anyway? They were probably trying to save money on making all the staircases.
Daniel had just had lunch and was on his way up to the Ravenclaw tower. He had to get a petition to get the stairs removed. He was so caught up in thought that he didn't notice the vanishing step and his right leg sunk right in . Great. Now it was going to take him five minutes to get out of this. He hoped no one would see him like this. It was embarrassing .
