Vianna smiled warmly as Ferris released her waist to take her hand instead, relishing in the feel of his warm hand wrapped cozily around her own, keeping it warm in the chilly night air. She gazed to the side as they walked, to the ancient city in the distance brightly lit by its own lights, absentmindedly admiring the sight of it, and the beauty that decorated this bridge, with each angel staring down at them with blank eyes, their faces expressionless and even a bit creepy in the darkness of night, despite the fact that they were supposed to be messengers of God. Vianna was snapped out of thoughts on all this, though, as the young man at her side spoke, sharing with her that her brothers had nearly murdered him when he shared that he'd forgotten their anniversary with them. Vianna rose her eyebrows at this. "Professor, you should know better than to tell my brothers something like that!" she said, though there was an amused smile curving her lips. It was just like her naive Professor to think that her brothers wouldn't take even the slightest, tiniest opportunity to make him feel like the worst possible person alive.
