Iris looked to Leilani nervously. Okay... So that didn't work. Iris kinda hoped that it would work. But she clearly didn't hope enough. "Great... Just fantastic." Iris sighed and eyed the bird with a look of annoyance. "We might have to stun him or something... But that could really hurt him." Because, Iris wasn't really sure how effective or stong a simple 'stupefy' was to a bird as small as this.

For all they knew, it could kill him. Which would be REALLY bad. Jimbo was probably still really mad at her for the stuff she'd said in the common room the night before.

O____O ... " 'LANI!" Birdy!Jimbo was ATTACKING her!!! Those pecks looked PAINFUL. Before she even had the chance to try and catch Birdy!Jimbo, he'd started to fly at her. NONONONOOO!!

Wincing as the little bird ripped some of her hair out, Iris glared up at the bird, who was already back on his little safety spot. "You okay?" Iris asked, looking to Leilani. The places where the Bird had pecked her looked pretty red and sore.

"Jimbo, C'mere. PLEASE?!" Iris had turned back to the bird, and walked closer to the painting it was stood on. It was stupid. She was pleading with a BIRD. anyone who chose to walk past would think she was nuts. "We won't take you to Lafay, PROMISE. But we have to take you to a professor who can change you back." It looked pretty impossible. Jimbo was going to be a bird forever.

And he still hated her.

Perfect.

Iris turned to the other Slytherin. "D'you think that whatever caused Jimbo to turn into a bird has messed with his brain to make him really think he's a bird?" *confused frown* " 'Cause I really thought that all of that would convince him to come down."

Right. They needed food.

To coax him down with, obviously. Not to eat.

"Birds like worms and stuff, right?" Iris said to the girl. Worms were mingin'. Iris was not touching a real worm. "And Jimbo loves candy. Soooo, maaybe some gummy worms MIGHT convince him to come here without attempting to kill us."

Then they'd conjour up a cage around him, and take him to Lafay before he even got the chance to eat the gummy worm.
