Regardless of the nerves he was feeling, it was alllll confidence on the outside. Head held high, a nice serene smile on his face, uniform was wrinkle free, hair was perfect as usual, a random wink to the young lady that asked him about potatoes at the opening feast, and blue eyes on the prize! Or in this case, it was still the goblet. Holding the small parchment in hand, Noel stopped just outside the age line and waited for the others to place their names in first, his smile becoming slightly larger as each of his friends placed their names in. And now, it was his turn.
Taking a step forward towards the goblet, he raised his hand and placed the
small parchment with his name and school written on in it into the blue flames. Hmm, the flames were much cooler then he had expected. Even having the icy blue tone of color that it possessed, it was still warm to the touch though. Satisfied with the achievement, he took a step back out of the circle and to his classmates.
Only time would tell now who it would choose!
Well, this guy certainly looked confident. Josiah wondered idly if he realized that
he could die in this competition. Looking at all the contestants dropping their names in, he wondered if any of them had really realized it yet. Oh, well. It wasn't his problem whether they were dead or alive, was it?
